Georgia Accounting Food Fight

For nine years, The Georgia Society of CPAs and Georgia’s accounting industry have partnered with Feeding Georgia to support their shared mission of ending hunger. During two weeks each August, accounting firms and individuals compete statewide to see who can raise the most funds for their regional food bank. 

During last year’s 9th Annual Georgia Accounting Food Fight, Georgia’s accounting industry came together to break records and raise $346,288.81 – the equivalent of over 1.3 million meals during a time of struggle and uncertainty for many. 1 in 9 Georgians are experiencing food insecurity, and 1 in 8 children are at risk in 2023. Georgia’s food banks have been responding around the clock to an exponential increase in the need for food assistance since pandemic assistance programs are waning and inflation is rising.

For every $1 donated through the Food Fight, Georgia’s food banks can provide the equivalent of 4 meals to food-insecure kids, seniors, and families in all of our communities – filling plates and hearts across the state with your support. All funds raised stay local and benefit the regional Feeding America-affiliated food bank that serves each participating team’s community, so you can fundraise confidently, knowing that you’re making an impact in your own backyard.
