The Food Bank currently provides over 25 million pounds of food and grocery products annually to over 700 nonprofit partner agencies in 38 Georgia counties.  These agencies, in turn, provide groceries and meals to hundreds of thousands of Georgians in need of food assistance.  Our agencies range from food pantries and community kitchens to shelters, after school programs, and more. Every day, representatives from our partner agencies arrive at the Food Bank’s loading docks to pick up their product orders.  Volunteers are needed to assist our partner agencies with loading this product into their vehicles. This project is perfect for individuals at least 16 years of age who can lift up to 75 lbs.  It offers a great opportunity to learn firsthand about the work of our community food network.
