Donating made simple: 5 easy steps

1. Complete donor application form and return to the Atlanta's Table Operations Manager FAX number is 678-553-5969.
2. The Operations Manager for Atlanta's Table will contact you to arrange pick up day(s). This is your contact for extra pick ups and last minute supply needs, and can be reached at 404-892-1250 or at cell phone number 404-397-6030. Atlanta's Table drivers carry supplies with them and are able to replenish your bags and pans when they do pick ups.
3. Once it has been determined that food will be donated to Atlanta's Table the following steps are taken:
   1. Transfer food to either a bag or pan. Pans with lids costs Atlanta's Table approximately twice what a comparable volume of bags cost. We encourage our donors to assist with keeping our costs down by utilizing bags whenever possible.
   2. Label food with product name, date & your location's name. Example: Beef Stew - 3/12/06 - Mom's Diner
   3. Food is then either refrigerated or frozen depending on the date of your scheduled pick-up. It is preferred that foods are frozen to maximize freshness.
4. When your donation is picked up, you will receive a receipt indicating the type of product and its weight. This information should be passed on to your accountant as there are generous tax advantages available.
5. Your donation is placed on a refrigerated truck and will be distributed to a non-profit, community-based agency later that day. Those agencies include day-care centers for low-income families, facilities for seniors and persons in recovery, shelters for battered women and the homeless and programs for the mentally challenged.
