Thank you for your interest in hosting a product drive!
As you plan your drive, please take a moment to consider some simple ways you can help the Food Bank work smarter, save gas and money, and therefore increase the value of your efforts.
- Can you create and use your own materials and receptacles? This can help us save on gas, so we can use that money to provide more food. If you do need materials/barrels, we are very happy to deliver.
- Can you plan on bringing your donations to ACFB once your product drive is over? Again, we are glad to pick up your donations if needed. But if you are able to bring them, we can use the money saved to distribute more for those in need.
- Consider holding a drive for non-food items in addition to (or instead of) a traditional food drive. People in need of food assistance also need help with non-food items they can’t purchase with food stamps including diapers, toothpaste and other basic necessities. Please note that non-food product must be placed in a separate container dedicated to non-food items. We must keep food and non-food items separated. If you are planning to use our containers, we do have special non-food drive barrels and we are glad to deliver.

When you are ready to organize your drive, you’ll need to fill out our online Product Drive Information Form.

Confirming Your Drive
- Once you have completed the online Information Form for your drive, simply click the "send" button and our team will automatically receive an email with your information.
- You will then receive a phone call or email confirmation within 2 business days. (Forms received on Fridays will be confirmed by the following Tuesday.)
- Remember: Completing your Product Drive Information Form is not your confirmation!

Is your group is interested in conducting a Virtual Product Drive?
Please consider hosting a product and fund drive. We can set-up a customized virtual product drive page for your group. As an incentive, Medlytix has issued a Corporate Food and Fund Drive Challenge, and virtual product drive cash gifts received by December 27, 2011 will be matched up to $20,000. Your gift will be matched, doubling the impact in the community. In a virtual drive, participants simply make a financial contribution on a secure virtual product drive page. We can even brand the page with your group's logo! For every dollar donated, the Food Bank is able to provide $8.47 worth of groceries back to the community.
