Annual and Ongoing Food Drives

A Very Special Delivery To Stamp Out Hunger

Over the past 15 years, the annual National Association of Letter Carriers Food Drive has become a national tradition, always taking place on the Saturday before Mother's Day.

The drive, now in its 16th year, has become the largest one-day food collection in the nation. Last year, Letter Carriers delivered 70.7 million pounds of non-perishable food items donated by patrons to local food banks, pantries and shelters in hundreds of cities.

Please leave a bag of groceries for your letter carrier this Saturday morning! This is an especially important time of year for food banks to restock. With the approach of summer and the end of the school year, families with children receiving free and reduced school meals will now be challenged to provide breakfast and lunch.
