How do I hold a food drive?
Please start by contacting Julia Blackmon, the Food Drive Coordinator to get detailed information.

Where can I find a materials order form?
The form, as well as other materials, is online at ACFB.org or you can call the Food Drive Coordinator to obtain a form.

What to do after I complete my materials order form?
You can send your form by fax or email to the attention of the Food Drive Coordinator. The fax and email address is located on the materials order form.

How do I know if my drive has been scheduled?
You will receive a confirmation call or email of your scheduled delivery and pick up dates from the Food Drive Coordinator. (Please note: There is no set time for your delivery or pickup. Someone from the Transportation Department will come between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the scheduled day.)

How will I collect the food?
The Atlanta Community Food Bank offers barrels, bags, and posters to promote your food drive. You can request these items on your materials order form.

How will the barrels get picked up?
The Atlanta Community Food Bank offers delivery service if you are requesting 2 or more barrels and pick up service for all barrels. (Please note: There is no set time for your delivery or pickup. Someone from the Transportation Department will come between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. on the scheduled day.)

How do I find out how much food we raised?
The Food Drive Coordinator will send you a thank you letter stating your total food drive poundage. The poundage is the weight of all the barrels and bags your company or organization has collected.

Is there anything that we need to know to help our food drive go smoothly?
Yes, please refer to the "Tips for a Successful Food Drive" sheet that you will receive with your materials order form. This sheet will help you organize and run your food drive smoothly.
