Hunger Walk/Run Cancelled Due To Inclement Weather
Sunday's winter weather forced the cancellation of the Hunger Walk/Run for the first time in 25 years. While we regret that we had to cancel 2009 Hunger Walk/Run, the safety of our supporters was our first concern.
Unfortunately, the funds expected are needed this year more than ever, and the Food Bank is just one of six hunger relief organizations that share in and are dependent on the proceeds from Hunger Walk to effectively do their work.
