ACFB, in partnership with Public Design Workshop at Georgia Tech, are asking residents and local stakeholders of Westside neighborhoods adjacent to ACFB (Vine City and English Avenue) to come together and spend some time with us in a series of 3 workshops. In each workshop, we will work together to understand the local food system. We will outline steps we might take to keep those part of the food system that work strong, and to identify those parts of the food system that need to be built up. In the first workshop, we will ask you to share your stories, your insights, your knowledge about what works and doesn't work with local food in the Westside communities. The end result of these workshops will be a set of ideas and documents that neighborhood residents can use to direct change in the neighborhood. And through this process, we also hope to respectfully build stronger relationships between Food Oasis, Georgia Tech and its neighbors.
