Chef Kevin Rathbun’s interactive restaurant cooking classes (www.rathbunsrestaurant.com/cookingclasses.htm)always sell out immediately. And while that is the case with his current 2011 class schedule, Chef Rathbun is making extra room to include one more person in each of his classes. Why? To benefit the Atlanta Community Food Bank! Class price is normally $350 per person, but for only $20 per chance you could win an opportunity to cook with him in his restaurant kitchen! The Food Bank will benefit from 100% of the raffle proceeds.
What: There will be one winning ticket drawn for each class. Each raffle prize includes one winner to join in the class, one guest to accompany you for dinner, a complimentary chef jacket, and wine pairings.
How: Classes are 1:30—4:30 p.m. Participants are divided into teams and create their dishes from scratch. At 4:30 p.m. your guest arrives and appetizers and wine pairings are served. At 5:00 p.m. you and your guest sit down to dine on your culinary accomplishment.
When: All classes take place on a Sunday. Winning raffle tickets are drawn the week before each class (usually the Wednesday class; purchase confirmation will specify).
