  2. Word Feast 2007Feed your soul.
If your cravings lean more towards food for the soul, we suggest you head over to the Horizon Theatre in Little 5 Points for WordFeast. Formerly known as Writers In Concert, WordFeast features some of our most celebrated local authors, playwrights, storytellers and actors! 7:30 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3. Admission: 15 canned goods or $15 donation for the Food Bank. Free parking. A reception follows the performances. Click here for more details on WordFeast 2007.
  3. Add a little kick to your Kroger trip.
Thanks to local grocers who make it easy to give, a trip to the store can actually be a feel good experience! At Kroger, you can pick up a "Can Hunger" box for only $7.50. Each box is filled with a variety of nutritious items that go a long way for a family in need. After you check out, just place the box in one of the barrels at the exit. Kroger also has tear off donation slips for $1 or $5. Happening now - Dec. 31.
  4. Beleza, Sotto Sotto, FritiEat, drink and be merry!
Join us tonight for our last Supper Club of the year. Enjoy an evening of food, friends and fun while 20% of your tab benefits Atlanta's Table, a project of the Food Bank. Richard Ullio's three host restaurants are so fantastic it will be hard to decide where to dine. Check out the newly opened Beleza, or head to Fritti or Sotto/Sotto. Click here for more information or to sign-up to receive your monthly evite.

Can't make it tonight? Fill your bowl at The Real Chow Baby anytime during the rest of the year, and you're helping to fill someone else's, as they are donating a portion of each guest's check to the Food Bank! Check out their menu at www.therealchowbaby.com.

  5. Give a gift that gives back.
The Food Bank offers terrific gift options during the holidays:

In addition to our Simple Abundance Cooking Class gift certificates, we also have bats, gloves and jerseys autographed by Atlanta Braves Pitcher John Smoltz.
