Usher Encourages Youth to Help
When R & B Artist Usher provided the kids at his youth camp a hands-on experience in the sports and entertainment industries, he also made sure they received an education on the importance of giving back to their communities. He brought the Camp New Look kids to the Food Bank where they participated in Hunger 101, volunteered, and produced a public service announcement scheduled to air on the Cartoon Network! Learn more about Usher and Camp New Look.

Inspired? Groups, families and individuals age 8 and up can volunteer at the Food Bank. Find out how to volunteer at ACFB by clicking here.

Back to School: Support Kids In Need
If there isn't enough money at home for food, there isn't enough for school supplies either. In the fall of 2000, the Atlanta Community Food Bank developed the Kids In Need program, a year-round free store for educators. As children head back to school this week, please support Kids In Need.

Cook for a Cause with Renowned Chefs
Simple Abundance Cooking Classes have been taught by Kevin Rathbun of Rathbun's, Scott Peacock of Watershed and Mary Moore of Cook's Warehouse, just to name a few. See the latest class line-up and register here! Atlanta's Table, a project of the Food Bank, receives 100% of the proceeds.

Help John Smoltz Strike Out Hunger
In his dedication to fight hunger, Atlanta Braves pitcher John Smoltz donates $100 to the Food Bank for every strike out. John wants his fans to join him and is providing autographed sports gear for each donation of $25 or more. Click here to see the complete list of signed items and make your donation!

Calling all Apartment Dwellers
Did you know that Atlanta is home to one of the Nation's largest food drives? If you live in an apartment, chances are pretty good your community is participating in the 21st annual Atlanta Apartment Association Food-A-Thon!
