Does your agency have a Federal Tax Exemption Status under Section 501(c)(3)?
What is a Federal Exemption Status under Section 501(c)(3) or equivalent?
The 501(c)(3) is a federal document that establishes your agency or parent organization as a private non-profit agency. The document also makes your agency tax-exempt from federal taxation. If your agency is a non-denominational church, you may be eligible by submitting a letter from your CEO affirming that your agency is clearly a church within the spirit of the IRS’s guidelines.
