The Atlanta Community Food Bank works in partnership with over 700 partner agencies. These agencies can be found in 38 counties throughout Metro Atlanta and North Georgia. In addition, we serve nine counties in the state's northwest corner with food from our State Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP). Our partner agencies provide us with a presence in their local communities and offer thousands of low-income Georgians hot meals and groceries. Any nonprofit organization within our service area that provides free food to low–income persons may be eligible for partnership at the Food Bank.
General requirements
To become an Food Bank partner agency, your organization must:
- Have non-profit 501(c)3 tax status
- Be in good standing with the Georgia Secretary of State's office as a registered nonprofit organization
- Have a clean, secure, adequate storage and/or meal preparation area as well as suitable transportation
- Have an on-site feeding or grocery distribution program in operation for at least six months
- Not charge a fee or seek specific donations from program beneficiaries
- Provide monthly service reports and maintain records of Food Bank donations

The 2010 season application process is January 5, 2010 and will end October 1, 2010. The 2011 application season will begin on, January 5, 2011.
